Software & AI Engineering

Automation,AIandsoftwarethatregulatedbusinessesrunon.

We build client portals, workflow automations, AI features and the integrations that tie them to the systems a business already uses. Everything we ship is built to meet the legal and regulatory requirements it operates under.

About

Weshipproductionsystems.

Automations that remove manual work, AI features that surface insights from the data a business already holds, and the integrations that tie them together. Software that runs every working day, at scale.

Everything we build ships compliant. Data protection, audit trails, access control and the legal requirements of the sector are part of the build, not an afterthought. We design the database, build the product and keep it running.

Background

TheworkbehindKarram.

Karram is new. The work behind it is not. Moeen Tariq founded the company in 2026 after building AI and automation systems for a bank, a compliance platform, an agency and a healthcare business. LiteTax is the first system shipped under the Karram name. The rest is the track record it was founded on.

FAQ

Questionswegetasked.

What does Karram Technologies do?

Karram Technologies builds software for regulated businesses: client portals, workflow automation, AI features such as document analysis and assistants, and the integrations that connect them to accounting, payroll, mailbox and public register systems a business already uses.

Who do you work with?

Accountancy practices, professional services firms and other businesses that operate under legal or regulatory requirements, in the United Kingdom and Pakistan. We work with clients remotely.

How do you handle compliance and data protection?

Every build includes audit trails, encryption of sensitive fields, role-based access control and data retention rules, and the legal requirements of the client's sector are checked before release. For UK clients we work to UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and keep personal data in the agreed territory.

What systems can you integrate with?

Accounting and payroll platforms such as Xero and Employment Hero, public registers such as Companies House, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace mailboxes and calendars, voice and messaging providers, and most systems with an API.

How does an engagement work?

We scope the work in writing, agree a fixed set of modules and a schedule, build and deliver in phases with a review at each one, then keep the system running on a monthly retainer that covers hosting, monitoring, fixes and small changes.

Do you use AI in the systems you build?

Yes, where it removes real work: drafting risk reports, answering questions over a client's own records, suggesting how to read a spreadsheet, or handling calls. Model access is limited to what the signed-in user may see, and a person reviews anything that matters.
